Highway, Abaco National Park comprises 2500 acres reserved to
protect the Bahama parrot, which nests in holes in the island's

national park was a notable success for ecological conservation.
Heavily forested, Abaco is the best island for bird watching in the
Bahamas, and in the park you can expect to see warblers, West Indian
woodpeckers, yellowthroats, flycatchers, swallows and Cuban Emeralds.
