On the main island of Eleuthera, there are airports at Rock Sound, Governor's Harbour and North Eleuthera, with daily service from Nassau and Florida. Bahamas Fast Ferries (US$55 one way, $100 round-trip; phone 242/323-2166, ) operates daily ferry service between Nassau, Harbour Island and Spanish Wells, and twice-weekly service to Governor's Harbour. Government mail boats call once a week at Rock Sound, Governor's Harbour, Hatchet Bay, Spanish Wells and Harbour Island.

There are Ministry of Tourism information offices in Governor's Harbour (phone 242/332-2142, fax 332-2480) and Dunmore Town on Harbour Island (ph 242/333-2621, fax 333-2622), theoretically open during regular business hours, but in practice more sporadically.
