Nightlife
on the west coast is generally pretty quiet, mostly limited to steel
bands and floor shows put on by the more exclusive hotels. There's
not much in the way of local entertainment, but a couple of places
occasionally feature a Bajan band.
Casbah
Holetown phone 246/432-2258. Upmarket, attractive nightclub in the
Baku/La Terra building, pulling a good crowd of Bajans and tourists
for DJ sounds on Fri and Sat nights. Cover charge varies. 9pm-2am.
The Coach House
Paynes Bay phone 246/432-1163. Live music most nights, with the
island's top soca and steel bands as well as a Latin Fiesta night on
Fri and the occasional karaoke evening. 8pm-2am.

Crocodile's Den
Paynes Bay
phone 246/432-7625. Bar with pool tables and darts that
usually features live music on Fri and Sat with local bands, DJs and
occasional Latin nights. 8pm-3am; happy hour 9-10pm.
Fisherman's Pub
Speightstown phone 246/422-2703. Often the liveliest place in town,
with a steel band on Wed nights, and occasional floor shows on the
oceanfront verandah. 6-11pm.
