Dangriga's airstrip, served by at least eight flights on the run
from Belize City to Punta Gorda, is on the shore just north of the
Pelican Beach Hotel; for both domestic and international
flights check at D's travel Service, 64 Commerce Street
(phone 522-2709). Z-Line buses from Belize City pull up
at their terminal around 1km south of the centre, while James buses
stop slightly north of the road bridge over the South Stann Creek
which marks the centre of town.
From this bridge, the town's main street heads north (as Commerce
Street) and south (as St Vincent Street) - almost everything you're
likely to need, including hotels, restaurants and banks, is on or
near this road.
