Adjacent to the Thames river, you’ll find several boat tour operators, where you can buy tickets for a sightseeing tour on the river. It is recommended that you take these tours. You’ll see London and its beautiful buildings and their
picturesque sights from a completely different view. The tour guide
provides you with lots of information about London’s buildings and views as you pass.
At the opposite side of Big Ben you can find tours to the London Tower,
Greenwich and Hampton Court, a museum located at Tower Bridge, several well-known bridges, like Blackfriars Bridge, London Bridge and Tower Bridge. Several famous and beautiful buildings like the Royal
Festival Hall, Shakespeare’s globe which was used by him as a theatre, the oldest pub of London. Also included in tours are landmarks like Cleopatra’s Needle and the Oxo tower and
wharves, the HMS Belfast, a naval ship that is now used as a museum. |
Hampton Court, which has been the Royal residence for centuries from the 16th century onwards. Some tours take the same route the kings used to travel to Hampton Court. Big Ben, Houses of Parliament and Lambeth Palace. You can see several well known bridges like Westminster Bridge, Lambeth Bridge and Hammersmith Bridge. One
thing to notice is that the further away you travel from the centre of London, the more
expensive the houses become.
