Rangers patrol the 6400-acre park to enforce the strict rules that govern the use of Bonaire Marine Park. Divers and snorkelers will be asked to show their Marine Park tag, valid for one calendar year), available from island dive operators or from the Marine Park's office at Barcardera.

They'll also need to attend a warm-up dive session with a qualified instructor, which can be arranged through any dive centre. Diving gloves and kneepads are not permitted, nor is disturbing or removing any coral, fish or marine invertebrate, whether dead or alive.

Besides the many dive centers that offer trips in the park, Seacow Watertaxi will also take you to Klein Bonaire for US$14 round-trip.
