To naigate the park's bumpy and narrow dirt roads, a rugged
four-wheel-drive ehicle is necessary, especially
after a rainstorm; mountain bikes, scooters and camping are
all strictly forbidden inside the park.
The alternatie is taking a tour led by Bonaire
Boating, highly recommended for its coverage of the park's
natural and cultural history.
Before enturing in, stock up on refreshments and snacks at
the small plantation house where you pay your fee, as
there are no facilities past the park gate.

You can also view a small collection of Arawak artifacts and
tools at the nearby museum . Proper footwear and a
pair of binoculars are recommended if you plan to leae your
car for a bit of hiking.
