Búzios has a very active nightlife, with shows, nightclubs, parties, restaurants and bars for all tastes. By the way, the Búzios nightlife is a feature in itself. The central point is Rua das Pedras (Stones St), a charming and eclectic street, where it is common to run into famous people and hear foreign languages all over the place. That is where you really notice the number of foreigners that are in the city.

The street is a little over 1200 feet long, but it is charm laden from one end to the other. If it were not for this street, Búzios certainly would not be the same. Restaurants sere dishes will all the gastronomic accents. Charming bars with lie shows - some facing the ocean - invite you in to sit and appreciate the action. Art galleries, stores selling national and international brands, many pretty people and sun tanned from the beach all year long complete the scenery.

Rua das Pedras is a street where you can meet your friends, have a peaceful conversation, hold deep discussions, or fall in love. Meet interesting people, make new friends, or even simply appreciate the world going by. A place where people feel free and time is not noticed. It is a street where you can walk, have the pleasure of wandering and seeing pretty, colorful and exquisite things. Hear other accents, foreign languages and several different styles of music. Relax from a busy week, change the sights, seek your peace in peace.   It is with a large variety of shopping, where you can appreciate art galleries, choose typical things and handicraft and enjoy the pleasures of the tables in real restaurants. A place where gastronomic, music and film Festivals are held periodically.

Imagine that this street has style, charm, intelligence and a certain international and Brazilian flair at the same time. That it has a privileged climate, and that it is ocean-front! Well, stop imagining. It exists, right here in Búzios.

At Rua das Pedras, every 20 steps you take bring you to a new place. One of the most sought out place is the Mexican Zapata, very busy during vacations and weekends. Next to it, the already traditional Skipper serves pizzas and has a nightclub, which is normally open on Fridays and Saturdays. Another Mexican to land in Búzios was the Guapoloco. The building is really cool and inside, girls dressed in style sere you tequila shots.

To simply sit, sip a drink and check out the action, the place to be is Ponto Bar, that serves Japanese food with a musical background playing Rollings Stones, Eric Clapton, and others. Another good Japanese is the street side of Au Cheval Blanc. From there, too, you can eat and watch the action

If you rather watch a lie show, Pátio Havana always have shows playing jazz, blues and MPB (Brazilian Popular Music). At Pátio Havana, you have the advantage of facing the ocean in a setting that was decorated by Sig Bergamin. Once there, visit the wine cellar, pick up a selected cigar at the humidor or have a reserved dinner at the bistrô. In all, there are 5 different settings. In the middle of Rua das
Pedras, a bar that deserves a visit is Takatakataka. Kaiser, a Dutchman who owns the place personally serves a variety of exotic drinks. The bar (and the owner) look completely crazy and some times you have to hope he'll let you in.

The already traditional Chez Michou serves crepes with many different fillings. One of the new additions to the menu is the very Brazilian jerked beef with cream cheese. For dessert, choosing the banana/chocolate/crunchy crepe with ice-cream cannot be topped.
