The best dining experience in Summit County - take the free gondola ride to the top of 11,444ft North Peak and feast on New American cuisine with a Baarian edge in beautiful surroundings. It doesn't come cheap though - the six-course meals run around $70.

Blue Moose 540 S Main St, Breckenridge tel 970/453-4859. Inentie café menu, with lots ofvegetarian dishes for well under $10. Open for breakfast, when good inexpensie wheat pancakes are on offer, and for lunch, when sandwiches, soups and salads take over.

Mi Casa, 600 S Park Ae, Breckenridge tel 970/453-2071. The best Mexican food in Summit County, including fine chile rellenos . The tangy fajitas are good alue, as is the daily 3-6pm happy hour.
