Cabarete has an array of good dining options, most of
them opened by European experts, and hence with some unusual
cuisines for this part of the country. The entire town is
packed with bars , but a select few garner the
majority of the business.
Casa del Pescador
Carretera 5. The best seafood in town in an idyllic
candlelit atmosphere right on the beach.
El Tiguerre
Road to the Lagoon/Caves. Excellent, inexpensive Dominican
food served by friendly proprietors and set in a rustic
barrio on the outskirts of town. A real Dominican
experience.
Las Brisas
Carretera 5. The town's loudest and most popular disco bar,
featuring a mix of merengue and techno.
Lax
Carretera 5. Popular bar that's more relaxed than most of
the beachside spots, with live music on Sundays.
Miro's
The best of Cabarete's beach restaurants with fantastic fish
dishes and a good selection of wine. The Moroccan tuna is
out of this world.

Onno's
Carretera 5. Lively bar/restaurant which really gets going
in the small hours - plays mainly European and American
hits.
Panadería Repositera Dick
Carretera 5. Various gourmet breads for a few pesos, great
Danishes and croissants. Excellent breakfasts with
fresh-squeezed orange juice and cappuccino.
