The Cordillera Central contains the Caribbean's
tallest, most beautiful mountains.
For the most part, the roads are horrific, and so getting
from place to place often requires a conoluted route,
leaing the mountains ia one paed road and then
re-entering them ia another.
To head deeper into the range you'll need a donkey; blazed
trails lead to Pico Duarte from several points.
