One of the
most photographed features of the Valley of Fire is located alongside Hwy-169
three miles east of the visitor center.
Reached via a short but steep trail from
the parking lot at the park's east entrance, Elephant Rock does indeed
bear an amazing resemblance to a petrified pachyderm, dipping its trunk into the
hillside. |
