Of all Indian villages, Mandu and Orchha are less visited by tourists. However, they are the most rewardable villages to visit due to the few tourists who visit them. Because of this, it is easy to have more direct contact with the local people.

The architecture of the villages is strikingly impressive and beautiful.

Bodh Gaya and Pushkar are cities for people who want to learn about Buddhism, meditation, yoga, among many other affinities.

Mandu

There are two restaurants on Mandu, but no hotels. It is amazing how a little village such this one can be so gorgeous and grandeur.

The few adventurers who get there usually rent a bike for visiting the innumerous temples and mosques ruins around Mandu. A “breath-taking” adventure.

Pushkar

Pushkar is a little charming village of Rajasthan. In spite of being a little village, Pushkar has an infra-structure of hotels and charming lodges.

Regardless of the development of Pushkar, it still possesses a specific environment. Pushkar is one of the sacred sites that is more tranquil in all of India. It is here where the alcohol, meat and even eggs were banned.

The temples’ chanting can be heard all day and night long.

In Pushkar there are more animals on the street than in all of India. Monkeys stealing food from the tiny grocery stores. Herds of cows walking the streets. Pigs foraging everything they can find in the streets. Squirrels and birds in the trees and so on…

The sunrise is the most unforgettable moment in Pushkar.

Boddh Gaya

Buddh Gaya (Boddh Gaya)  is a little city where the Sidartha Gautama - after his enlightenment called Sakyamuny Buddha – sitting under a tree attained his enlightenment. Due to this event, Buddh Gaya became the most important peregrination site for the Buddhists all around the globe.

There are innumerous different monasteries and temples everywhere.  Most of the countries that have a predominant Buddhist population, build a temple in Buddh Gaya with the characteristics of their own culture.

The Tibetan temples are built exactly the same way they built their temples on Tibet; Thailand temples are also built exactly the same way they are built in Tibet. The same goes for the Chinese temples, the Birmany temples, Sri Lanka temples, Butan temples, Nepali temples, Vietnamese temples, Korean temples, Taiwanese temples and Bangladesh temples. All of the temples follow the same characteristics of their own cultures, providing to Buddh Gaya a huge architectural and cultural diersity.

Orchha

The little village of Orchha is a bit touristy developed than Mandu. There are two charming lodges and high quality restaurants, despite the relatively small size of Orchha.

There is a fort that dominates the great Orchha landscape. There are also many temples, and mosques ruins that enchant everyone interested in history, architecture or those who just want to feel themselves in a place forgotten by time.
