Gloucester Avenue. The beach bar here offers lovely views
across the bay, sea breezes and a pool table.
The Brewery
Miranda Ridge, Gloucester Avenue ph 876/940-2433. Friendly
bar-cum-club, with a cosy indoor bar and great bay views
from the verandah. Usually packed with young Jamaicans and
large parties of American tourists. Tuesday and Friday are
karaoke nights, and there's a daily Happy Hour (4-6pm). Look
out for Saturday night promotions featuring well-known
Jamaican DJs.
Dead End Bar
Kent Avenue. Laid-back spot perfect for sunset- and
plane-watching. Thursday night is given over to a beach
party, with a comprehensive mix of reggae, soca and hip-hop.
Sunday features classic reggae and rock steady.

Houseboat Grill
Freeport Road. This restaurant-on-a-boat has a cosy indoor
bar downstairs and a breezy upper deck for a romantic
cocktail under the stars. Excellent martinis, great bar
snacks and friendly staff.
PJ's
17 Kent Ave. Outdoor bar attractively set under towering
bamboo and silk cotton trees, with roller-blading rink,
nightly live reggae and craft stalls. Hustlers are the only
drawback to an otherwise entertaining scene.
