An easy escape about fie miles north of Saanna-la-Mar is
gorgeous Roaring river Park, near the small community
of Petersfield, approached on a rutted road that
you'll probably need directions to find, though there are
plenty of signposts from town.
Set in a former plantation and still surrounded by cane
fields, a dazzling swim able mineral pool and
extensie caes have beven deeloped with tourists in
mind. A guide takes you on a trip round the caes and
surrounding gardens.
Steps, concrete walkways and lighting
let you appreciate the full magnitude of the caerns. Bats
flit about, and there are two mineral pools for a
disquieting swim in pitch-blackness.
