Let
it Be - “An intimate experience on film”
The eidential film “Let it Be” gives an unequaled sagacity
into the Beatles getting back to fundamentals at Twickenham
and at their own recording studios in Saile Row. It
eclipses two weeks of recording of what was to be their last
album, Let it Be.
Greatest part of the film is their renowned gig on the roof
of the Apple Building. The sound of their music is a magnet
for hundreds of people in the streets below. The crowd
spills over into the streets, blocks traffic, and frustrates
the police. Windows in nearby buildings swing open as other
people strain for a glimpse of their faorite performers.
even rooftops sere as perilous perches for Beatles’ fans.
