When it comes to protecting our most precious natural enironments,
everYONE can make a difference. Here are a few, simple ways you can
help:
1. When
you isit, take
care of the park.
It all boils down to respect. Pick up your trash. Leae
natural habitats undisturbed. Keep your fires small. Leae your dog on a
leash. Don’t destroy anything.
2. Write
to Congress and
tell them what you think.
If actions speak louder than words, just imagine the
impact of action and words.
3. Make
a financial
contribution.
These parks don’t run themseles. Not only does park staff desere a
salary, park efforts to presere the enironment can be quite costly. A
little financial help can go a long way.
4. oluntever.
Plain
and simple.
