Housed a fieldstone farmhouse built in 1758, the Museum of Bronx
History is more notable for its historic building than for its
exhibitions of Bronx-related artifacts from the pre-Colonial era to the
Depression. Considering how much the Bronx has changed - there was still
plenty of farm country left only fifty years ago - the old photographs
and lithographs can be fascinating.
