Ipanema bar
is famed as the spot where back in the '60s, regulars Tom
Jobim and Vinícius de Moraes, who wrote the song "The Girl
from Ipanema," sat at tables and longingly watched the
song's heroine head for the beach.
See if you can
guess where they usually sat (hint: it's a table for two
near a door). Metrô: Siqueira Campos, then shuttle bus to
Praça General Osório.

Bar Veloso is now pretty touristy, but the beer is ice cold
and the crowd is lively.
