Christiansted is the shopping capital of the island,
its specialty being jewelry of all ilk's, and the usual
array of local arts and crafts - on which, of course, no tax
is payable.
The Caribbean Bracelet Company, King's Alley Walk, is good
for jewelry; the Iona Skye Gallery, 2220 Queen Cross St, is
the outlet of a husband-and-wife team of jewelry-makers;
Many Hands, in the Pan Am Pavilion, has a great range of
local arts and crafts, pottery, jewelry and music; while
Mark Austin, 3AB Queen Cross St, hand paints beach pails,
garden watering pails, calabash bowls, frames, and more.

Finally, the Mitchell-Larsen Studio, 58 Company St, sells
all types of hand-blown glassware made by its resident
artisans.
